Welcome to the first trilingual student journal of international law in Türkiye. Since May 2021, our online platform has been dedicated to exploring a diverse range of international issues and topics, spanning public and private international law as well as comparative law.  We, Sude and Hasan, have assumed the role of editors with a shared vision to foster and promote legal writing within the realm of international law. At this point, we would like to give our special thanks to our advisors Nurbanu Hayır and Begüm Acar. They have paved the way for us and fueled our passion for international law.

We aim to present our readers with content that ranges from introductory notes on various topics to commentaries discussing the most recent and pressing issues in international law, coupled with analysis of international jurisprudence. In today’s world, where there is significant interest in the international tribunals’, especially in the ICJ’s work and developments in global affairs, we aim to transcend this curiosity and enthusiasm for international law not only among law students but also within the Turkish legal community.

Before concluding, we would like to add that the views expressed by individual authors whose articles are published on the blog do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Galatasaray University, editorial or the writers’ team. Additionally, we have a complete and strict zero-tolerance policy against discriminatory and hateful language, which should not have a place among international jurists like ourselves.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. We look forward to your active engagement and support as we continue to grow and evolve.
