Scope and Focus
Our international law blog welcomes contributions on topics related to:
- Public International Law
- Private International Law
- Comparative Law
Submissions should provide original, well-researched, and analytically rigorous insights into contemporary legal issues. We encourage pieces that engage critically with legal developments, case law, and legislative trends. We also encourage beginner friendly, informative pieces on various issues of international law.
Eligibility
Submissions are accepted from students currently enrolled in a higher education institution, including LLB and LLM students, or young practitioners who have recently graduated from law programs. Joint authorship is permitted, provided all co-authors meet this criterion.
Submission Format
- Length: Articles should be concise, with a preferred length of 1,500–2,500 words.
- Font & Spacing: The manuscript should be in 11-point font, single-spaced, and must not exceed three (3) A4 pages, with a preference for two (2) pages.
- Structure: Submissions should have a clear introduction, a well-developed argument, and a conclusion.
- Language: Articles must be written in clear and academic English, French or German.
Citation and Referencing
- Authors must use hyperlinked references where possible.
- If sources are not available online, a consistent bibliography should be included at the end of the article.
- Footnotes should be avoided unless essential for clarification.
Editorial Process
- All submissions will be reviewed by the editorial team.
- The team may suggest revisions, which authors are expected to incorporate within a reasonable timeframe.
- The final decision on publication rests with the editorial board.
Submission Procedure
- Articles must be submitted in Word (.docx) format.
- Submissions should include the author’s name, university affiliation, and degree program.
- Authors retain copyright but grant the blog a non-exclusive license to publish the article.
